On August 23, 2018, Yutong, the secretary of the Gangbei District of Guigang City, Guangxi Province and his delegation visited the XJTU Shanghai Academy. Dean of the Shanghai Academy, Lei Li, and the Secretary-General Zheng Huating hosted the guests. Liang Peng, Shi Jianbo, Liu Zhenwei, Liu Lixin and others attended the exchange meeting.
At the meeting, Dean Lei warmly welcomed the visit of Secretary Yutong and his delegation, and introduced the research achievements carried out by the Academy in Smart Cities, New Energy Storage Technologies, Offshore Innovation Center construction and Internationalization. The Academy colleague Shi Jianbo specially introduced the ceramic insulated motor project and the new energy vehicle that our academy cooperated with the Novosibirsk State University. Secretary Yu pointed out that the new energy vehicle is one of the projects that the Guigang Municipal Government has vigorously developed. Now the current commercialization of technology is too inefficient, and it is necessary for the platform of the Shanghai Research Institute to bridge the gap between the government and scientists.
The two sides reached a preliminary intention for future cooperation. Secretary Yu tong also strongly invited Dean Lei to visit Guigang. Both sides are looking forward to a deeper exchange in the future.
