At the afternoon of 18th September 2017, dean Lei Li and deputy dean Li Dewen of Shanghai Academy of Xi'an Jiaotong University (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Academy") accompanied the Italian former national speaker of the house, chairman of Italy to China friendship association, board chairman of China and Italy development fund, chairman of the federation of small and medium enterprises in Italy Ms. Irene Pivetti visited the director of international cooperation institute Mr. Tao Zhen at National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) International Cooperation Center. Both sides communicated about the Sino-Italy cooperation.
At the meeting, based on the national strategy "One Belt And One Road", the director Tao introduced related work of international cooperation center such as to export established various industry associations and to import cooperation with local governments. In addition, He elaborated on the idea of cooperation between China and Italy from three levels: firstly, assist Chinese enterprises to set up offices in Italy and merger Italian enterprises; secondly, to introduce the Italian clothing, textile and other industries in the design and technical resources into China, promote local industrial upgrading, and especially detailed introduce the work progress of international cooperation center in Quanzhou, Ningbo and other places; finally, to facilitate the cooperation between Chinese and Italian enterprises and jointly undertake the development of national markets in One Belt And One Road.
Based on the work of promotion of communication and cooperation between China and Italy by herself over the past ten years, Ms. Irene Pivetti introduced the relevant situation of the alliance of small and medium-sized enterprises in Italy, and expounds her conception of the mode of China and Italy cooperation to director Tao.
Dean Lei Li introduced the latest work and progress of promotion of international scientific and technological research and development and the transformation of achievements of International Offshore Innovation Center established by Shanghai Academy, as well as the recently process of landing domestic promotion of China and Italy industry cooperation with Ms. Irene Pivetti.
Finally, each side communicated the cooperation mode, investment and financing mode, cooperation promotion and so on with others, and preliminarily determined that Quanzhou as the main landing city to actually promote the China and Italy industrial cooperation project.
