2018 March 1st, the delegation of Tianning District leadership visited the Shanghai Academy of Xi'an Jiaotong University. The Vice District Mayor Chief Yao Cheng and his team were warmly welcomed by Dean Lei Li. Vice Dean Li Dewen and Secretary General Zheng Huating of Shanghai Academy participated in the cooperation and exchange. The two sides started exchanges on the cooperation in the field of large-scale health care and related project implementation.
Dean Lei Li briefly introduced the basic situation of the Shanghai Academy. Dean Lei Li made a detailed introduction of the research achievements in terms of cooperation with local governments, the status quo of International cooperation, major research directions and industrialization projects. Liang Peng introduced the status quo of cooperation between the Shanghai Academy and Sweden, Israel and Italy in Healthy Pensions and introduced the project proposal of relying on Sino-Swiss cooperation to build an Eco-City.
Vice Mayor Yao Cheng expressed his deep interest in the research results of the Shanghai Academy in the cutting-edge fields. At the same time, he introduced the development status and advantages of the Tianning District as well as the development plan centered on the promotion of health. Vice Mayor Yao Cheng proposed that Tianning District should cooperate with Shanghai Academy in the field of health and bring in International advanced medical technology and resources to build high-end medical resources gathering zone. Vice Mayor Yao Cheng also said that the achievements made by the Shanghai Academy in bio-chips and new energy electric vehicles are in line with the development of Tianning District, and he looked forward to a further cooperation with Shanghai Academy in more fields.
After the meeting, Vice Mayor Yao Cheng asked Dean Lei Li to visit Tianning District for further cooperation.
