26th June 2017, Professor Anatoly Saprykin, the vice-president of Nikolaev Institute of Inorganic Chemistry SB RAS, the scholar of "project 111" of joint laboratory of China and Russia visited Shanghai Academy of XJTU. Dean Lei Li and deputy dean Li Dewen received the guest.
Prof. Saprykin introduced preparation of new type of silicon-carbon composites and the latest development in energy storage field. The adiabatic compression technology which developed by Prof. Saprykin can prepare the nanoscale high purity silicon and silicon-carbon composites, and controlling the technological conditions can change the nanoscale structure of the material. Part of materials showed excellent electrochemical property and used for electrode material or can significantly improve the performance of existing lithium-ion batteries. Dean Lei Li and Prof. Saprykin communicated about the development plan of joint laboratory of China and Russia in new type material of energy storage field.
Prof. Saprykin will visit Xi'an Jiaotong Univsity for a week.
