On January 8, 2019, the 'Philippine CEZA Chinese Enterprises Investment Promotion Conference' organized by the Philippine Offshore Innovation Center of the Shanghai Academy of Xi'an Jiaotong University was successfully held at the CEZA office in Manila, Philippines. The meeting was attended by the CEO of CEZA and the Presidential adviser of the North Luzon Island, Secretary Lambino. The meeting was hosted by Zhou Huangjun, Director of the Xi’an Jiaotong University Shanghai academy Philippine Offshore Innovation Center. Representatives fromChina Southern Power Grid International Company Limited, Dongfang Electric International Corporation,China Railway First Group Company Limited, China Harbour Engineering Company Limited, China Energy Engineering Group Company Limited and Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute Company Limited, XIAN Electric Engineering Company Limited, and ChangjiangSurvey,Planing ,Design&Research Company Limited attended the meeting.
At the meeting, SecretaryLambino, introduced the CEZA team to the participating companies. The Chinese companies gave a brief introduction to their business scope and capabilities. The CEZA team fully exchanged opinions on the North Luzon project with Chinese-funded enterprises. The CEZA team provided relevant project materials to Chinese-funded enterprises, detailing the future planning and project investment construction requirement of Northern Luzon and CEZA, and for Chinese-funded enterprises. The questions asked are given in detail.
Representatives of Chinese companies attending the conference are very interested in the relevant projects in Northern Luzon, and hope that the projects invested in the future will receive CEZA's policy support. The Secretary Lambino, welcomed the Chinese companies to further cooperate for interested projects.
