2017 October 19th, chairman of the board of directors of MUTIARA SMART COMPUTING SDN BHD (hereinafter referred to as SMART Company) which is directly owned by Malaysia Ministry of Finance (MOF) Mr. Farid and company management team which were 6 people visited Xi'an Jiaotong University Shanghai Academy. Dean of Xi'an Jiaotong University Shanghai Academy Dr. Lei Li warmly welcome the delegation and invited related leaders of China Electronics Technology Group (hereinafter referred to as CETC) to communicate and discuss on issues of mutual interest of both sides. Deputy dean Mr. Li Dewen and secretary Mr. Zheng Huating of Xi'an Jiaotong University Shanghai Academy also participated in the meeting.
The team of Shanghai Academy introduced smart city planning design, new generation communication technology application, new materials and new energy application and so on research subjects and the establishment of international offshore innovation center (OIC), as well as related scientific research achievement and project implementation cases. CETC team which was invited in the meeting introduced application cases of advanced technology like scattered communication, beidou navigation, etc., in detail. Moreover, Vice general manager of Grid Electric Company Mr. Zheng Huating introduced business of the company.
SMART Company admired the research and achievement in advanced technology of Shanghai Academy, especially expressed a strong interest in the new generation communication technology application and asked a lot of questions that they care about of scattered communication, beidou navigation technology, and so on. Chairman of the board of directors of SMART Company Mr. Farid hoped to introduce these technologies to Malaysia and look forward to a higher level cooperation with Shanghai Academy as soon as possible.
Finally, dean Lei Li as the chairman of TITM Company represented TITM Company and chairman of the board of directors of SMART Company Mr. Farid represented SMART Company signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on long-term strategic cooperation agreement.
