2017 May 9th to 11th, delegation of dean Lei Li of Xi'an Jiaotong University Shanghai Academy went to Stockholm of Sweden for the Second Green Economic Cooperation Conference, and visited the Sweden smart city project and energy conservation and environmental protection demonstration project.
At the conference, dean Lei Li gave a presentation named Chinese Smart City Construction And Globalization. He indicated that, with the increasing uncertainty and economic slowdown, Chinese smart city construction and the "One Belt And One Road" strategy are the significant opportunity of the world and related to the new changes of global governance. We will not only to integrate world innovation resources that support construction of Chinese smart city, but also share the experience and intelligence of China to the world. Dean Lei Li introduced the exploration and experience of smart city construction and international cooperation of Xi'an Jiaotong University Shanghai Academy to other attendees as well.
During the conference, dean Lei Li as representative of Xi'an Jiaotong University Shanghai Academy signed the Strategic Cooperation Frame Agreement with Swedish Academy of International Studies. Also, he communicated with academician Chen Qingyuan and Hou Li'an of Chinese Academy of Engineering about smart city, energy-storage technology, sustainable development and so on. In addition, The delegation of Shanghai Academy communicated face to face with IVL、EnviBAT、SWECO and some other Sweden institutions and enterprises for project matching negotiation, and visited the Hamabi Eco-city and the royal Harbour City. At the same time, dean Lei Li received a special interview from the Nordic Times.
The second China and Sweden Green Economic Cooperation Conference was initiated by the Embassy of PRC in Sweden, the Trade Chamber of Sweden and China and the Green Technology Alliance of Sweden, and supported by the Swedish foreign ministry, Swedish environment and energy department, Swedish enterprise and innovation department, Swedish national institute and the Nordic sustainable development association. The purpose of this conference is that expand green cooperation field between both countries and deepening bilateral business cooperation. The Swedish business and innovation minster Mr. Mikael Damberg, the Chinese ambassador to Sweden Mr. Chen Yuming, the Swedish ambassador to China Ms. Lin Dai'an and so on participated this conference. There were more than 200 representatives of government, enterprises and scientific research institution participated this conference as well.
